Rambles:
Winter, Spring
A great place to walk the Ely10, or ten miles around Ely
has to offer from a walking, and environment enjoying,
perspective.
Much of what can be seen is easily accesible, and if it
might be a bit sticky we will endeavour to point it out,
just don't expect it all to be walking along hard surfaces.
Your old trainers should do just fine as long as they
haven't got holes in like ours.
As with all walks be aware to think about where you are
going and that some of the land you cross may have
voluntary rights of way that mean they remain open only on
the goodwill of those who own the land. Permenant or
voluntary rights of way, treat it like you would something
of your own and you can't go wrong. Gates closed, no
litter, dogs on leads. We won't bore on anymore.
The rambles we've selected are ones proven over a few years
of walking them. If you can add a detour that improves them
or suggest one you like, contact us on
sightings@elygreen.org, or leave a message on the
sightings page.
